According to a study at Purdue University, the average
American visits their refrigerator 22 times a day.That figures out to 8,030 times a year! It also means
magnets attached to the refrigerator are still one of the most inexpensive ways
for businesses to gain exposure to their customers and prospects. Each magnet
showcases their basic business message: Name, Service or Product, Location and
Phone Number (who, what, where message of every sign and business card).
A
medium stock shape magnet in the Best Buys 2011 catalog, at 500 piece quantity
is $0.35 each. This calculates out to 1.6 cents per contact based on 22 times
per day. However, take into consideration the entire year with 8,030 exposures
and each exposure costs just a tiny fraction of a penny!
